I made a Thanksgiving cake for a friend to use as a hostess gift when she sells jewelry. Pumpkin cake with creamcheese-y filling and spicy icing (Kay’s recipe but use ground cinnamon and fresh ground nutmeg instead of butter flavor) I made a cornucopia with pumpkin, apples, and peppers out of fondant.

Sweet Times in the Rockies is Denver’s annual cake show. It’s occurring in conjunction with the Denver Home and Garden Show.
