Parrano cheese

September 6th, 2010 Randy No comments

Nice – I like this icon!

Parrano Cheese may be the best cheese ever.  It’s a Netherland cheese.  But it’s been called Italian Gouda.  YUMMY!!! Found some hiding out in the fridge.  BAM, wiped it out in one shot.

Damnit. I just was watching and noticed something. When Luke just crawled out of the monsters den, then Ben says “go to the Degabah system, where you’ll be trained by Yoda, the Jedi Master who trained him” What? It was’t yoda, it was Qui-gon

Underwater camera for the boat

September 5th, 2010 Randy No comments

Bought an underwater camera for the boat.  It’s a “cheap” version that I bought off someone from Ebay.  They are normally around $300, but got it for $100 (score).  It’s a wired camera that has a 65 foot cord and then it attaches to a 7 ” LCD monitor, and it all powered by a small battery.  COOL!  I am going to take it fishing and then go check out one of the harbors to see if I can spot some lobsters.   Video when I can get it…

Tried to be healthy and this happens

August 15th, 2010 Randy No comments

So Tokyo Joe’s just opened up near us. I THOUGHT that the udon noodles were better than rice, but it’s 450 calories for noodles and 254 for brown rice. Damnit. Anyway the stuff is pretty good, but I didn’t want to eat 800 calories for lunch. Sigh…

Guess it’s salad tonight.

Glenwood Spring whitewater rafting

July 25th, 2010 Randy No comments

Just finished a full day of rafting on the Colorado river. Very fun. We got to use the inflatable kayaks as well as the big boat. Stopped and hung out in the hot springs. Good rapids and had lunch. Would recommend it to anyone. Blue Sky Adventure was the outfit.
