Well this makes it 3 times in a row we’ve been delayed because of weather coming out of Denver going to orange county. Check out the rain.

Global warming? Ha!

We’ll see how this trip goes.

Well, it’s snowing. Not bad, but it’s snowing. It snowed in September as well (nothing stuck). Colorado…

Seriously, Colorado is supposed to be nice, not as hot as the desert.

So we had about 10-12 inches of wet snow hit us on Friday. I was down at work, nothing but rain, until I left a bit early and got pounded with freezing rain, leaving about 2-4 inches of slush as I made my trip home, splashback was brutual and then it turned to rain all the way up to about 3 miles from the house. Nasty stuff. Saw a wipeout on the highway (dumbass), and then got all the way home. Had to use the snowblower (the neighbor lets me borrow hers as long as I snowblow her driveway) and Sadie had shoveled twice. Today, it’s going to be 60 degrees, on Thursday before the snow, we were in the 70′s. Colorado spring weather can get pretty wild.

Holy crap, we ended up with over 18″ of snow.

So it’s freezing here. The average low at the house for December (according to the weather station) is 19.8 degrees with the average high of 44 degrees. Ughhh.  The high for one day here was -3.5.  That’s negative 3.5.  Are you kidding??!!  It’s cold in the house, it’s cold in bed, it’s cold at work, the dog is cold, the cats are cold, the snow won’t melt..  When are we moving to Hawaii?

Cold weather, that people, it what grinds my gears.
