Go buy them. The US economy is on sale. We are at 1996 pricing, and some stocks at 1986 prices. If you hang in there for the long term, this is the best time you’d have to buy.

So a friend tipped me off to this one. Check out restaurant.com. They have gift certificates out there. Most are $25 for $10, or $10 for $3. This isn’t really the big news. At the end put in promo code “santa” and bam, 80% off. I thought it was a scam, but have tested a couple certificates, they look legit. It’s a marketing scam probably, so you’ll get flooded with spam and junk mail, but I think it’s worth it. Do read the fine print ( Lobstergram’s don’t have them out there, but you can’t use multiple certificates). Not all restaurants are in there, but it’ll save some bucks..
