I did it! 140 lbs on the scale this morning. Sweet. I might try to go for 135 but I think I might be crossing the fat / muscle line where I will start gaining weight. It’s been a bit since I’ve seen that one, but it’s because we’re eating better and doing P90X. I brought it!

So Tokyo Joe’s just opened up near us. I THOUGHT that the udon noodles were better than rice, but it’s 450 calories for noodles and 254 for brown rice. Damnit. Anyway the stuff is pretty good, but I didn’t want to eat 800 calories for lunch. Sigh…
Guess it’s salad tonight.

So we are at the Denver Home and Garden show and we run across this booth for Full Service landscaping. Awesome, the booth is trashed and there is no one there. Sounds like some of the contractor horror stories we’ve all heard / seen / been warned about. I thought it was damn funny.

Seriously, Sadie and I went to sunflower market and we saw these little carts. at first I said, cool then I saw what they were, a cart for the baskets. We really can’t hang onto a basket for 5 minutes without needing a cart, are we that lazy?

Darnit. I do like these things. They have sugar, what doesn’t? If you drink two 12-oz cans of mountain dew, your over this mark. I’m drinking them and that’s that. BTW, Sadie is a Lo-Carb Monster fan. I guess she’s the smart one.

WORST ENERGY DRINK
Rockstar Original (16-ounce can)
- 280 calories
- 0 g fat
- 62 g sugars
Americans spent $4.2 billion on high-octane elixirs in 2008. Even with dozens of brands found in the cooler, Rockstar stands out as the most sugar-loaded of the various and sundry energy drinks. Compared with its closest competitor, it has 20 extra calories, which is just enough to make it the worst possible choice for instant energy. And with research on the long-term effects of taurine and guarana still cloudy, you’re better off getting your buzz from coffee, a proven source of antioxidants and other beneficial nutrients. But if you must grab a can, you can’t get better than the low-carb concoction below.

Ok people, I told you guys almost a month ago to buy. How did you do? That’s AIG, CAT, and BA. All bought within that one month period.

Yes there are some stocks that I got my ass handed on, but that was the time to rebuy all of them. So well positioned to make some cash off the flop. And I’m doing my part in getting the economy back into shape.
Great article here that we’ve used already. The stamping was common sense, but I was going to use sandpaper, glad I didn’t.
