Fun networked slot machine. The one at the Flamingo just kept hitting. This one just got better and better… Hillius, Sadie and I played with some chick. It has three games, the big fish was the coolest, the $20.00 fish kept showing up, but never bit. Kind of like reality..

Reel ’em In: Compete to Win (WMS Gaming) was the first big hit video slot for WMS in 1997, giving the company a boost at a time when it was struggling with patent issues on its reel-spinning slots. The theme’s success over the years makes it only natural that WMS would turn to the fishing theme for community-style play.
What’s different about Compete to Win is, well, the competition. In introducing its Community Gaming line, WMS first turned out Monopoly Big Event, in which players won together on events including a trip around the Monopoly board. Everyone was rooting for the dice to take the whole group to those big properties.
In Reel ’em In: Compete to Win, everyone goes to the fishing round together, but they won’t all be rooting for the same fish. Each fish is assigned a point value, and when you see a big-value fish swim onto the plasma screen overhead, the anticipation builds as players wonder if it’ll bite — and whose fisherman will reel it in. The player with the most points at the end of the round not only wins the accumulated credits, but gets an extra bonus reward for winning the derby.
Oh no! It’s down again. Games are freezing, and I have the three ring of death randomly. Called Microsoft, they said it was out of warrantee (MS extended their warrantee for three years) and it was only rewarranteed for another year after the replacement. Give me to the supervisor. Explained it again, he checked, rechecked, verified, then said sure we’ll take care of you. Nice. Microsoft, thank you. Now I won’t have to sell my stock (or should I since they are giving away free services? ) hmm… Nope, it’s good customer service.
Check out the total time played. For a $15 game this rules!.

Got this game (AGAIN) for Xbox360. I have it for the N64 still. It’s a bunch of fun for a platformer. I had to pay for it again, but It was worth it. It’s a really wierd concept, with a bear and bird in a backpack, but trust me, get it. Sadie used to study for college when I originally played this, so maybe she’ll remember Forestry stuff while I play…

So we’ve loaded the “instant queue” up and have them coming through our Xbox360. This is probably the best value I’ve seen. If you have NetFlix and aren’t using this, you’re missing out! Get it.

No, I’m not a Brit, and no we’re not vacationing there either. Guitar Hero rules. This song is awesome!
Cool!!! I found a site that shows how to play the riffs from some of the songs off Guitar Hero. I’ve been threatening to pick up my real guitar for awhile now, maybe this will make me do it.

Broke down and bought the drums, a mic, and another guitar. Sweet. “bought” a used copy of Rock Band, then downloaded the songs, returned it, then got Rock Band 2. Had friends over last night, while drinking martinis and rocked out. Sadie sang! Fun.
