Made an appt at the Genius Bar, and whammo, new phone. Cool.

Uggh. This one was a bit annoying. Every so often, I would download or update an app, and then this annoying screen would come up with unable to purchase XYZ. It still bought the app and downloaded it, just still gave me that error.

I did the rub, brined them overnight and smoked with apple wood at 225 degrees for about 3-3.5 hours..

Well there it is. So far so good, it was yummy and smoky, leaving it freshsaved for a couple of days, they say it gets better!

Smoked Cheese

I am going to try smoked cheese today. This is the process I will be using. I am using mozzarella, we’ll see if it is too soft. I’m figuring that the hard cheese will accept the smoke and not melt. Maybe I’ll throw some hard cheese in these as well to test it out.

Dragon Missile case

Ok, so one more thing off my list of hobbies. The missile case is fixed! The twist latches are cool and odd at the same time. They are Penn Elcom 7440 field dressed twist latches. They fit into an aluminum rail and clamp the other one against it for a waterproof seal. Doesn’t everyone have one of these?
